Researchers from the NESTOR project have published new findings.
The benefits and feasibility of contour-based scene simplification at different phosphene resolutions was assessed in real-world indoor mobility experiments accomplishing an important step towards optimizing the software to produce percepts by stimulation of the visual cortex in those who are blind.

The study can be found in the Journal of Vision.
