ABC Symposium 2025: Neurotechnology

On June 26th 2025 the ABC Symposium ‘Disrupting neuroscience and neurology with neurotechnology’ takes place at the Roeterseiland Campus of the University of Amsterdam. In this multidisciplinary symposium,  internationally renowned experts will focus on the future avenues of neurotechnology. The symposium concludes the ABC Summer School 2025 Neurotechnology: New avenues to advance fundamental neuroscience and address brain disorders. The symposium is a collaboration with the INTENSE project.

ABC Summer School 2025: Neurotechnology

Neurotechnological developments are disrupting the way in which the brain is studied and its disorders are diagnosed and treated. This Summer School will provide a deep dive into the frontier of neurotechnology, aiming to bridge the divide between fundamental science and clinical methods. During a 10-day full-time programme, from June 16 – 26, students will have the opportunity to attend lectures from top experts in the development of neurotechnologies and their application in science and therapy.

Every two years, the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience (NIN), organizes a Summer School.In 2022, the subject of the Summer School is Neurotechnology. The Summer School features lectures from 12 internationally recognized top-level scientists. The event is a gathering of experts in neuroscience and technology and covers many aspects of this rapidly emerging field. We will discuss the new methods for reading from, and writing to, the brain and the emerging therapeutic applications made possible with this technology.
